What we did for for 6 hours!!!!!

Well, as the title says it all, it was one unfortunate day for us from 2AIN1 when there was a humongous-dungous gap from one lecture to another. Yeap, LECTURE!!!! Supposedly with our 'style' , we wouldn't even bother going for classes that have such long gaps, but you know, due to exam being around the corner, going to class became more of a 'must' lah...you know...under the "tips" section??? Or better yet, "guidelines". Hehe... Important you know.. =P

The girls and guys had to settle their bank draft so we first went to Public Bank. Then later we visited the much-talked-about-between-fellow-Tarcians ==> The Four Seasons Restaurant. Yeap, we planned to glue our butts onto the chair for approximately 4 hours before making a move to class!!! Haha. Which we did. Lol. And Foong brought us to the Winter section, so by the time four hours passed by, we were already freeeezing like we're in UK during winter! Zzz... Hehe..

I tell you ah, the service in Four Seasons is just ridiculous man..I have only been to a handful of restaurants of this category and this one tops them all for having the most inefficient one. I mean, I ain't try'na bicker or anything, but hey, serious lah, almost 1 hour plus just to wait for our dishes to arrive?!!?!?!? Dudez, there were only 8 of us man, not a battalion! Then they addressed the issue earlier that their kitchen had no electricity, so they had to change Ron's and Chocolate's orders coz their oven wuzn't functioning, which we had to comprehend because of the uncontrollable factor so yea it wuz pretty understandable if there was a delay in delivery services but over 1 hour, don't you think that's pretty atrocious??? Talk about a bad hair day. But seriously, the service here, darn it man. By the time the food came, our stomachs were sucking the life out of us already..Urgh...! Darn frustrating.

That's not the end of it! While they were serving starters (We all ordered sets), which consists of jelly slice, corn salad (which I must say wuz way too salty for my taste buds) and a slice of erm, pear wuz it??? While we were passing around, someone spotted a small insect, you know, those tiny-winny flies that come about when there is water substance around??? It wuz happily walking around the dessert wei. Bugger! Talk about hygiene issues. Or perhaps sheer bad luck. Aikz....

But my dish definitely wuzn't bad luck. Well, reading that line, u guys might think that finally, something good!!! But no. Well I ordered the Combo platter, which basically consist of steaks combination-lamb, chicken, and fish (which wuz clearly written in the menu). Then to my surprise, when the food came, oh my Gawsh, where's my FISH!!?!!?! Ironically, I wuz thinking to myself, "Gosh, what's up with me and fishes man???" (Well, those of u close to me would understand). Then they brought it in and added a fish lah, which wuz a mistake that wuz not suppose to occur in the first place!!!

It hasn't reached the end of the critic. Now the issue wuz highlighted during the payment. U know ah, prior to switching orders of Ron's and I think Chocolate, they forgot to cancel the previous orders and added it into the bill! Man, talk about efficiency?!?!?!!? Where did that go??? To the bin??? At the beginning, when all the mistakes incurred, Foong wuz very sympathetic and comprehensive, but by the time the mistake occured at the payment process, he gave a stern dissatisfied shake on his head. Sigh...

The only thing that was quite impressive to me, was the wash room. The design of it was....differentiated. As in. the door. Haha. And the blue lightings. Blue just goes so well with white. Gives that serene, calm and romantic feeling.

Despite all the disappointment, the times with my classmates were fun. I haven't hung out with them in awhile. Thus it was good to catch up with them and things. We sat there in the chill cold for hours talking and laughing away!!! Hehe... Which wuz the nice part. But as a customer, I personally would suggest, that if you're looking for a good atmosphere for a romantic date with mediocre food, then perhaps this would be suitable. But to be a loyalist to the place, even with constant additional cash in the wallet, I wouldn't make Four Seasons a routine. Sorry wei, gotta be honest yea...

Anyways, enough with the disappointment, here are some of the pics we took. Check it out~~~!!

~Nowa, Jin Tinn and Ron!~

~See lah.. What 1 hour of starvation while waiting for the food to arrive did to Ron... He stole the whole bowl from Yew Hong!!! Lol~

~Oh yea...forgot to mention, due to the ultimately bad service... The manager gave us this green tea cheese cake to try as a token of apology... Which was alright... but none of us couldn't find the green tea taste...Guess it wuz lost somewhere between the cheese...! or...They just forgot to add green tea and put colouring only...! Like my FISH!!!~

~We look like we are in the UK right???? Hehe wait wait...soon we will be!!!~

..And my favourite pic of them all.. Under the skills of Foong,

Then, off to class we went!!! =D

Moments on Christmas!

It’s surprising to note that even with the economic downturn; the places that looked like it barely got affected are the shopping malls, airing grand decorations in different themes, lavishly looking all so fritzy and Christmas-y. Christmas always seem so magical; there ain’t any other celebration that can match up to it!!! There were uplifting songs churning in the air, and people stopping by to take snapshots of themselves around the decorations.

As for me, I took the advantage to experience all that it had to offer and went for shopping and even more window shopping!!! =D This year, as it has always been a custom, I bought my family Christmas presents. The first one I found wuz for sis, a laptop bag. Then it went on to dad, which I bought him two new pants for work. Then it went on to mom, a handbag, and finally bro. I also took the chance to get something small, in the spirit of Christmas for Selene, Vanessa, and Jeen. Then just two days before Christmas, I went shopping at Parkson and bought a few new clothes for myself. 2 skirts, 1 cargo pants, and 2 shirts altogether. Since I wuz shopping, I bought a new gift for Clare too, a long time friend which I haven’t seen in 123456 years! I wuz filled with delight when I received her text exclaiming she wuz in Malaysia and I had to get her something, so I got her a nice brown long-sleeved top, which I thought would be handy in Australia during summer or perhaps Autumn. Hope she liked it!!!

Christmas this year wuz warm and nice. As it wuz all about family, we all gathered at dad’s shop to celebrate with daddy and Uncle Kwong. Uncle Kwong bought us a really pretty log cake from Bread Story, and sis got turkey from a German restaurant. Kinda forgot the name. I cooked fried rice (which wuz lacking in salt-Eh can’t blame wei, I never cooked for so many people before!) and earlier in the morning, dad cooked fried crispy pork! I even brought ColB to shop so that he could get a share of all the love and fun too. =)

Here’s some more pics to tell the tale.

~I want I want too!!!~

~Don't we look like sisterz???~

~Nice big BEER eh??? Hehe..~

Just last Sunday, on our usual family gathering, we went to Tropicana Mall after eating at Asia Café, where we officially had our last Christmas shopping. We bought 3 new mattress sets from Akemi coz it wuz on promotion. One mattress for each room (also in conjunction for New Year!) Darn bro, dad bought him a new Audio speaker for Christmas!!!

Well, that’s about it!

Hope everyone had a nice and memorable Christmas! And wishing everyone a Happy New Year!!!!!

Lotsa love.

Hrm....

Something's making my heart feeling weary today. I've been sitting around all day since I came home, trying to figure out what is it that's bothering me. Funny thing is, I can't seem to figure out what. Is it my UK application??? No, I settled it all today and handed everything in already. Hrm..is it the Master's??? Well, no, that's not it. Is it exam??? Hrm.. No that's not the problem either. So what is it????

What is it????

I'm feeling uneasy, and I dun like it. Urgh... Soooo gonna have trouble sleeping tonight... And class is gonna be at 8 tomorrow~~~!!!!!

All Mood Goes Way Under...

It's been bothering me for days...

Sometimes I think about it a lot.. Sometimes time just go by without me having a single thought of it...

Sometimes, it's just there, waiting to crush my every possible hope for a good day.... And sometimes it just doesn't do anything... Just sits there... Waiting for the right time to strike again... And when it does, it hits really hard...Which I so immensely hate.

Gosh...

I'm having my finals coming up soon... And I have so many things to do in mind... IF it attacks again, I will loose all hope for one precious good day..! Then I'll have terrible mood swings, which will affect the work I do. Just like today.

I hate it...I hate this feeling... And the worst part is, I have to wait for the right time to breathe in deep and let the pain go... which is seeming like forever now...

...Why do I have to be the bearer of all pain???

...Why???

...Why me?????

...Why do I have to go through this????

Darn you, wisdom tooth! Why can't you grow the normal way and not defy gravity!!! Why can't you just be a good tooth just like the rest of the them??????

Ahhh..It's hurting again!!!!!

YAOOOOOUCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Season's Greetings!!!

There I wuz, sitting at Starbucks til sundown finishing up our Case Study assignment. I watched a nice sunset up in the sky that day. And airing on the radio was a mixture of really really nice songs. There was a mixture of Christmas medleys, melodies, and a bit of other songs too. And I swore that I even heard Sarah Mclachlan's Christmas number! I think she was singing Noel. Which was a beautiful masterpiece (although a little dark~Oooo). But she's my current interest now!!! Then only it hit me that Christmas is just around the corner. Soon!!!

You know, I thought that all my Christmas decorations have been eaten by those crazy white ants when they came to surge my house just late September! Mom wuz complaining that most of the stuffs (including plastic. which means the angel too) became the termites' sumptuous meal. Which means, no tree this year!!! (Awwww...Aikz) But one fine day when I came home, I saw the Christmas tree sitting there! Beaming with lights of multiple colours.. (Eh, I thought we agreed that this year, we won't be putting THAT up wan???) But then again, mom IS mom, and being the lady in the family, she couldn't possibly let Christmas run by without doing a thing about it right??? Love her for that!!

The Christmas tree is beautiful, as always. Although most stuffs already got eaten by those darn termites, the tree couldn't look any more beautiful. Let's put a comparison from the year before to the current one. =)

Did I mention that most of the decorations got eaten by termites already???

*grin*

This is my favourite 'decoration' pic of last year. Can u spot something special 'lying ' somewhere in the pic???

Yeap yeap yeap! It's little ColB!!!

Here's more cute ones...

Merry, Messy ME!!!

My cute face! lol

Have a joyful Christmas everyone!!!

lotsa love.

I miss....

Holding hands with someone...where his fingers and mine linger...

Having simple conversations, short phone calls, meaningful smses...

Waking up in the morning... with a sweet love message waiting to be read...

Being stupid... and feel happy beng it...

I miss...

Walking in my favourite park... piggyback-riding...

Surprises....ice-cream...waffle...

Sunset...that very day...

How ever did I let you go....???

....Soda....

I was wondering what to drink...

Scavenging the menu like there was no tomorrow...

Then I stumbled upon that drink. It was its name that attracted me.

That very mil-second my thoughts went straight to him.

~I recalled of the time we were at Secret Recipe, and I ordered an ice-cream mixture, whip cream and M&M's around it. Also with the same name.~

It was happiness then, but not so much of that now.

In fact, it hurt.

But I ordered it anyways...

'Coz I'm gonna have to deal with it, some way, somehow...

U know what's the name???
~I Love You Soda~

FUN! =)

What does college revolve around??? Well, if its not "kap-zai-ing" (not for me la) then it SHOULD be about studies and assignments right?? Haha.. Well, yeap, time around comes the stress of the assignment!!! It has already reached Week 10 this sem, and really, time flies..! I guess its coz we are a lil more laid back compared to last Semester. And it seemed like there are so many happenings one after another, including birthday parties and yada-yada that it's just impossible to keep track of time!

Stress can never peak more during other times as compared to when due date is just around the corner. But hey, it's good right??? Stress is good, coz it stimulates the brain cells (the right ones) to work at rocket-speed, especially when you've got your arses racing with time!!!

Doing assignment with them is always fun. Haha. I don't remember having so much laughter in the past while doing assignment. Lol. Yes, we are super serious when it comes to work, but time and time again, you do need to sit back and chill right??? If not, then why come Starbucks right??? =)

Just opposite, Padini had year-end sales! SALES!!!! And we love sales!!! (How can we not?!?!?!) So being typical girls who had an itch to have a look-see look-see moment, we went to have a peek, and Vanessa ended up buying a new shorts! Here's a pic of us cam-whoring while chillin outside the dressing room. *wink*

As for me, I bought a new shirt! Well, its less of a shirt actually. =) When I first saw it, I wuz wondering if it wuz in the wrong shelf! Then I showed it to Selene and she asked if it wuz for kids. LOL. But anyways, I decided to try it on, and it happily fits!!! =) It had the word "Tropical Babe" imprinted on the front, which I love. And its off-shoulder, so it's really soooo Spanish-ish. Plus, its sex-ay!!! Haha! I gotta have it! So out of the shelf, and into the bag!!! *beam beam~Grin!*

Presentation wuz next day. Us being girls, after class we had the whole class to ourselves and we took the opportunity to camwhore!!! LOL!!! I'll post the pics next time though..coz I dun have it with me yet!!!

2 down, 2 more to go!!!

..Can't wait till the end of the coming week!!!

lotsa love.

Outing of the week!

It was a random family outing last Sunday, where my family and I went to Mid Valley to hang out. We had planned to watch 2012! And it was my second time that week!!! But its alright for me, coz i thought that 2012 wuz a good movie, and a worth one too! I mean, 10 bucks for a movie that's 2 hours and 40 minutes long? What's not worth in that??? Not forgetting, I think it was a good movie as a whole, where they had a good storyline, good actors (even the kids) and awesome technical effects!

John has a friend workin at the ticketing counter at GSC, so thanks to his connection, we got a place for 6, and a good one too! If it hadn't been for his friend, getting tickets at the very last minute is impossible! The seat wuz 3 rows from the back, and the middle; better than Gardens one! But i must say, the AV system at Gardens wuz better lah.. The thing wuz, that day we had to rush, coz John didn't have a good look on the ticket's timing, and he thought it wuz at 6.15 when the movie started at 5.45. At 5.50 we were still at Sushi Zanmai gobbling happily..! Oh no...!!!

But before that, check out the pics!!!

Think dad looks real cool in this pic. =)
Dad's dish!
Dad and Mom..
Bro was wondering what to order. Sushi? Sashimi? Ramen??? In the end he chose Ramen, which he said sucked! Haha..!
*peace!*

Then on Monday, I met up with Selene, and we went to Mid Valley. Gosh, Mid Valley again??? haha no lar. We had to get to Mid Valley to get to North Point to get all our questions answered about our Masters program. From the big ones to the itsy-bitsy questions; which we did!! After feeling satisfied, then we went to grab our lunch at Nando's! We both ordered the the same dish, only with different side dishes. And true to say, we were not so adventurous!! We just settled for Lemon gravy instead of the per-peri or hot peri-peri and what not. Haha. But Selene loves Tobasco sauce!!! Which makes me the ultimate Loser!!! Hahaha..! Check out the pics!!

My dish..
Selene's portion!

*smiles*
Haha..yeap yeap! I'm 'not so brave' alright! And I love it!!! =D

Rant

Pick it up, let it go...

Pick it up, let it go...

Pick it up, let it go...

This has been going on in my head for almost forever. Constantly, when the mind drifts to somewhere far, to a place used to be called "the safe haven", it takes a substantial amount of will to vacuum the mind out of such place. It's just outrageous at times, to realise that the one thing which has contributed into giving so much fond memories is now the source of rapid sadness. That is why I have to constantly ask myself to pick up the memories one by one, and let it go. Slowly. Take one step at the time, right??

But its okay. It's happening slowly, but gradual. I feel my heart getting back to its old pace again. Of course, it's a bit empty now. But to have it heal would suffice.

Then only ill figure out where would I go from there. Once its fully recovered.

Can't Smile Without You!!!
