A little reminder...

It was a Sports Stadium.

Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang !!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,

All eight girls started running.

Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps,

when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down,

Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help.

One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently

And enquired as to how she was..

They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post........ .

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand.

Officials were shocked.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation.

Many eyes were filled with tears

And perhaps even God's!

YES.!! This happened in Hyderabad [INDIA], recently!

The sport was conducted by
National Institute of Mental Health.

All these special girls had come to participate in this event

They were spastic children.

Yes, they were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD.?

Teamwork.?

Humanity.?

Equality among all.??

No...... They taught..........

Successful people help others who are slow in learning..............
So that they are not left far behind !

This is really a great message... Spread it.!

We never do this because we have brains !!!!

Food Again OMG!

Seems like my bro is blogging more often than I am..!

..with so much that's happening, it's just almost impossible to sit a mere 15 minutes and post, even with the tons of things that I have in mind.

First up, I've grown sideways!!! OMGGGGG!!! I think  my heart stopped a second when I saw the weighing scale this morning..goodness! Where did that additional 2 kg come from????????!??!??!?

... Well, thinking again, it's not surprising lah, considering the fact that this is the one year out of my 24 years of living that we didn't fly out station or out of the country coz we want dad's eye to fully recover before we fly, so what do we do with all the excess time we have????

EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The night before NY, we ate at the a Hunan Restaurant, called Xiang Fu Xiang Cheng, which serves an array of some "freaking aid" spicy Chinese food, but was soooo yummy that eating whilst tearing was weirdly an exhilirating experience. This was at Scott Garden, and the price was, well, worth it lah, with most of the dishes ranging from RM30-45.  I gotta say the winner is the very spicy frog dish. If you choose to be a patron, you just gotta try that one, priced at only RM 35 or so.

Then the next day, we just had to get our hands on Shogun! =) I ate my heart out like there was no tomorrow coz the food was pretty good, sooooo full that I had trouble sleeping.  Seriously....haven't felt that in a looooong time. How fulfilling..! Shogun has a wide array of dishes to select from, would go visit there again in the future.. =)

The following day, we ate buffet dinner at The Mills Cafe, at Grand Millennium Hotel, but the buffet was not as good as Shogun's lah for sure. In fact, nothing was worth remembering except for the pizza which used yummy cheese. Well I reckon nothing expensive but the end dish (pizza) was worth stuffing urself in, thin crusted some more.. yumms.. even the much talked about Indian curry was, well not to my liking really..too much spices for my palette.

In the noon, we ate lunch with Aunt Helen at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. That lunch was so fun! We were given a simple IQ test in which we had to solve, well its kinda hard to explain here but all in all, dad (being the oh-so smart person that he is) solved it1 So what did we get as a reward?? A free mango frizz on the house and chocolate chips ice-cream!!! Whee...~

That night, honey surprised me when he came home a day earlier! Whee...! Was so surprised to have found a love-note on my post box. =))))))))))))))))))

Then the fourth day, we ate at...let me see..I think it was called Steam Room, where each of us were served this bowl of all the lavish food that's common for CNY, which comprises of sea cucumber, abalone, scallops, and others, alongside other dishes of course.

The abalone was like soooo cute lah..

...And to celebrate Cap Goh Mei, we are going to Teluk Gong to makan besar again!

And even tomorrow!!! Pork Nuckle on the way!!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Total faaaaat-ness!!! =)

Haha..

lotsa love.

All the *Heart* in the World...

Over the weekend, my family and I went to Krabi for a vacation..

Haha..No lah, it's barely Krabi, not even the tip of Thailand, it was just a a night out chilling over some beers and complimentary snacks at Overtime with some of the very important people in my life.

It was pretty kewl actually, considering the idea that we went all the way to Klang to eat seafood, and then thereafter had an indulgence of a drink or two of Aromatic and Lager Beers. =) It was a buy one free one during the time we went, so wth, drink to hear's content!!!! *Rawr*

However, during ordering time, there was a miscomm between the darnn Vietnamese/Myanmarnese waiter and us that he had ordered our drinks amount wrongly, having ordered 10 glasses instead of 8. So the Manager came and apologised to us because it had been keyed into the system therefore there was no rescinding of orders, which made us quite "mm song" lah of course, especially my dear sister, Pine, which was way over-the-top frustrated over their ineffeciency of taking orders, which lead the Manager to serve us some very lovely tidbits to go with the beers as a sign of apology. In the end, all's well ends well and we ended up ordering 5 more glasses through the night and chatted away!!!

(complimentary tidbits)

(pork slices)

Now, do you know of any parents in mind who goes chilling with their kids on a Sunday evening until night?? Parents who drinks beers with their children and their lovers?? Well, I reckon not many right, since kids now have their so called "own world"??

But well, now you know of one. =)

Feels like the family have multiplied to have not one but two more characters in this already perfect circle. Ken, well of course la, but I'm so glad that my family adores honey and cares about him in very profound ways.

I love love love love love this particular pic that we took coz it looks like the perfect family picture that we have taken, everyone's present, except for..hrm...Vivian..Bro, bring ur girl next time!!! =)

And look what daddy cooked for Ken, as a..well I believe it's to congratulate him in his new job and as a departure dish, maybe???

...mmm...some yum yum sea cucumber steamed and poached to perfection alongside mini Shittake mushrooms and pork meat with the perfect gravy. Took sucha long time to soak the sea cucumber and then to cook it.

..And our favourite Kanika Octopus with strips of onions and dried chillies was the other dish as well too..Kung Po style babeh.. =) **mouth watering**

*yums yummmmmssss*

..feels like this family have multiplied.. =)

Of coz, we also ate it lah, can't possibly be all for Ken right??? =)

..And out of randomness, look at what I found while doing grocery shopping at Cold Storage, wan Utama???

************HONEY NUT FLAKES!!!*****************

I couldn't believe it!

OMG!!!! I went gaga  I swear!

Now, all that's missing is cold, fresh full fat milk and my honey to experience my Nut Flakes with me!!!

Honey, buy milk and hurry!!! =) *winkies winkies*

Nice pic??????? Nice right nice right????

It's taken with my new toy, my little white and sexy Siri... Was torn between this one or the other Samsung but after all comparisons done, the Galaxy S2, Note, and even Nexus falls short in comparison.. Besides, there's just something classy bout the i-phone family that none others have. Growing to like it more and more.. =)

And OMG, look at this doggy!!!!! Isn't she the cuuuuuuutest thing?!?!?!?!?! One of the first pics honey took of me with the phone. It's a fren's, named Belle... OMG she's like so cute I almost burst in utter fondness.!

..And oh, I bought a new pair of Esprit sunglasses not too long go as a "treat" for myself from the fraction of my bonus.. A girl's gotta reward herself once in awhile right??? And hey, there's a discount after the initial price of RM 790, costs me only a couple of hundreds.. =) A person who drives as much as I do, I do "need" the glasses. (Yeah, that's just my guilty conscience talking. =P) Haha...

Well, that's all for now..! =)

It's Valentine's coming soon..! Loooooove is in the air..!!!

lotsa love..!

Can't Smile Without You!!!
