Coz I'm leaving on a jetplane...

"Oh my bags are packed, I'm ready to go..."

Yeap, it's counting down the days til I'm picking up my bags and setting off to UK!!!

One night left and I'll be on my way. Not that I'm counting, but mom. =(

Sis says it feels so weird to see me pack. We always pack together. Heck, I dun remember the one time I went traveling without her!! Now packing up is not so fun alone. Sobs..=(

Am I supposed to feel excited??? Well, partially, coz I'm leaving a lot of worries with me.

Dad underwent for cataract surgery last Thursday. He's recovering well, and ever since the operation I have been around spending as much time as I can with him, coz I know I'll be gone in a few days. It takes two months for a complete recovery. Feel bad that I can't be around to watch him through it, like how he has done to me every time I fall sick or fall from a tree or something.

And then there's Rocky and his skin problem.

But ah well, enough with the wallowing.

Besides, my life motto: Everything will gradually fall into place =)

Here's the small dinner gathering we have to celebrate my farewell. Not that I'll be gone long, but it's under the courtesy of dear Uncle Cheng.

Yeap, it wuz at Fatty Crabs. Conquer conquer crabs all the way!!!

Let the pics do the talking, shall we??? =)

And the bill came up toooooo....

There's this one awesome panoramic pic I took with my DSC-TX5. But heck, can't upload. Ugh...darn*

The next time u hear from me, I have already set foot in UK!!!..

Wish me a safe 17 hours flight!!!

Lotsa love.

And yea...kinda camwhored a bit.

Nice anot????? =)

(Still shaky huh.. gotta work on that.)

And dad got me a new phone yesterday too.

I know the exact reason why he got me this.

It's coz Dad loves me that he knows my ultimate weakness, therefore he got this to look out for me in times when I'm far far away, when he is not around for me.

Dad's always looking out for me in his own special ways. It's a special token of love.

That's why Dad's the cutest and sweetest guy ever.

And I love him for that too. =)

Thanks daddy. *hug hug*

Love it...!

My Escape...

I love my window.

It's a foresight to wonders...

There used to be a beautiful tree standing right opposite it, the lush greenery of leaves mixed with tender yellows...that would gradually fall to the ground..like little snowflakes...

..Sometimes, if I'm lucky, a pair of canaries can be seen sitting by the branches...Oh how contented and sweet they looked to be...free to fly as they wish...

(sometimes I wish I had wings too...we all do, don't we???)

I love my window.

It's a portal to the most heavenly of songs..

The chirping of the birds in the wee hours of the morning...

And the sound of the piano keys in harmonization, producing the most peaceful selections of some very familiar songs in some of the evenings...

..The heavenly tingling sound of the wind chimes hanging by the tip of the frame as the wind gushes by...

...And the scent of wet breeze after the rain...

..Sitting by my cozy, fluffy bed.. It inspires me to write of the simple insignificant things like these in appreciation...

Such serenity found in the simplicity of things..

By making use of the four senses-sight, smell, touch, sound...

Aaah.. *~Contentment~*

Yeap, I'm a nature girl.

Boring and plain indeed.

And I love it...!

So Bite me. =P

Haha..!

*smiles*

Lotsa love.

I Found You!!!

It is down to my last week at AA. It's just amazing how I yearn for the seconds to tick a milsecond faster everytime as I look at the bottom right of my computer screen and now that it has come down to my very last days over here in AA. Fyi, AA is an service network company catering to 90% of the insurance companies in Malaysia. Basically they are the intermediaries over network, providing services ranging from car assistance, medical assistance and travel assistance. Well enough of the boring stuffs. Ulk.

Because of the fact that I am soon to leave this place, there hasn't been much work being hovered on my shoulders for the past few weeks. (That explains my brain dysfunctionality-from my previous blog entry).

And guess what I found while I was rummaging through the internet, angstfully finding for something to do...???

Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (*squeals, screams, faints*)

That's right...! I heard one of my Juniors mentioning the 5th edition, but I never expected to find it so easily online..! Apparently this version, Midnight Sun is unfinished thus unpublished due to the leak of the content in the Internet which ultimately altered Stephenie's will, determination and most importantly drive to finish it. (The one disadvantage of the Internet's existence)...

Damn, Twilight!!! How come I didn't think of this earlier, I don't know.

I found this exactly one hour before I finished work yesterday, so it almost ripped me figuratively when the clock striked 6, and I had to hurry coz Cha and Jon should be waiting for me. So I woke up this morning with a profuse amount of glinting hope and energy to go to work today...! Just to read the unfinished version of the 5th Twilight saga edition! Ah, how weak, it takes so little to excite me. (Grrr...)

It feel so good to be back reading the skillful writings of Stephenie Meyer after such a long time. Stories that lurk between the collision of reality and fantasy of the "unknown world" just fascinates me, not to mention, the story revolves around Edward's thoughts, and from this book I could delve deeper into how much and head-over-heels Edward has also fallen for Bella...

~Oooo...~
*melting melting*

...

...

...

*still melting*

What a wonderful imaginative world it is....
lotsa love.

If I have to look back at you from this point on, there will be no more regrets carried forward.

There will no more be me wondering "what-if", "what could have been", "what should have been."

Because I tried.
Maybe it didn't suffice for you, but it did for me. I gave u my word. That I would tolerate.

Some things are just not so complicated.

Why can't you see things the way I see it????

It's All in the Perception

We complain too much.

Especially girls.

All we do is rattle rattle rattle.
Bla bla bla...

It's embedded in our gens.

~In the car~

Mom: (Looking at me from the rearview mirror)
Fung, you're going to leave to UK a month.

Me: Mummy, less than a month la. Yesterday was a month.

Mum: Oh yah, so fast..

Me: Dun worry la, its only three months. It will go as fast as it came.

Bro: And I'm having my IU on the same day of ur departure!

Me: Ya lah, u stupid. Go have same day for what man?? Cannot send me to the airport now lah?!?!?!? I know you purposely wan!

Bro: Haiah dun worry. I will wan. If not, then by the time u come back I'll drive the car to pick u up la.

Me: Eh u think driving to KLIA like making turns around the neighbourhood meh??? I'll see la if daddy allows u to drive.

Bro: Snortzzzz...

Well, its prettty hard not to count down the days, coz it is drawing closer and closer. What seemed to be a random conversation is about to take place. Yes, I have been travelling my whole life, but its going to be hard not to see the familiar faces of my family and dear sis. Sis is always at my beside whenever we ride the plane. This time around, I suppose its going to be some random stranger. Or maybe one of my few classmates. Gosh, the flight is going to be a looooooong one.

If there was anything working in AA has taught me, it wud be not to take things for granted.

Know why???

1. Work is boring.

I mean, seriously, being in the working life is pretty mundane. There isn't so much to look forward to other than the ample and repeatitive extraction of reports daily. And I'm in the Marketing Department! I thought it should be the most happening!!!!!!! Ah well, guess not. =( But is there all there is to it in the working life???? There'd better not be. Gawsh..i sooo need something more challenging!!!!

Hence, I'm going to make full-use of my three months of studying in the UK. No more complaints about how stifled I am being in a community where I don't fit in. No more slacking around. I have three months left of being a student. And I'm making the best out of it. =)

2. My dad.

Hands down, there is no more men out there like my dad. He being the sole breadwinner of the family, having to feed the other 4 pigs (Sis, bro, mom and I) and is still dedicated to his role of being a loving father, waking up at dawn and cooking us food to eat for lunch, which I pack and bring to eat for breakfast in the morning.

(Yeap, I don't just settle for one piece of bread and a cup of Milo like everyone else. Eating that little makes me dysfunctional. Haha.)

I could see reflections of envious shots aimed upon me when I bring breakfast to eat at the office. (Wee~) Most of the time it would be rice coupled with the daily variatons of dishes cooked by dad. Some collegues even come by and be a hypocrite, checking out the delicacies for the day. Haha. And then daddy gives me morning calls, asking me hows the food and they think its super sweet. I think so too. =)

They say that I'm a pampered child. Well, no, I'm not pampered, just loved. And for that I'm very grateful.

3. Thank God I'm educated.

Most of us don't see it, but there is just so much to be grateful about by just knowing that no matter what happens, the least u have is a certificate that would ensure that if u fall down, you wouldn't fall too hard because it becomes your cushion. And with that cert alone, the options presented to you are much wider, more secure. The least you have, at least, is an over-chilled office, a desk, a nice chair and nothing to do but being aimless, and that's not bad. Trust me. =)

I remember having conversations with people unfortunate that they didn't fully accomplish their education. They were exploited of their enery and labor, and was excessively underpaid, and some even work for 21 hours consecutively to make ends meet. It's a tough one.

Therefore it simply repulses me to find some ungrateful brats who take education like it was feather falling from the sky. Many people would want to trade places with us.

So bottom line is, don't complain if you're in a position that you dislike in life.

Coz life is NOT a bed of roses.

And not everyone is born with and fed with a silver spoon.

So it's entirely up to you to make your own bed of roses.

It's all in the perception.

So, is ur glass half empty, or half full?????? Time to make a choice.

Lotsa love.

Can't Smile Without You!!!
