The little reasons to smile.. =D

Clock was 3.30pm. I finished my work at 3 but the gathering was going to be at 6. So there I was, taking a stroll down Bangsar Village’s Connecting Bridge to BV 2 when I spotted something oh-so familiar. I swear seeing the same shop somewhere, only that I was not in this country. PEACOCK. Then I thought, “Hey….Since when did this get here???”

And so I entered the shop, only to realise that it looks exactly the same as it looked like along Moors Street in Sheffield. I remember visiting the shop countless times, and even made purchases in there. The ambiance of the place is the same, with the latest songs stringing in the air and the arrangement of the store in the exact same manner. That was when I spotted the same pair of undergarments that I bought hanging by the shelf. The same pair!!! Talk about being fashionably late. =) And those shoes which I regretted not buying, they were all there by the racks too, arranged in UK style, well if u know what I mean. =) Problem is, the price was jacked up by almost 30-40%. Ah well, what do u expect right? Like who’s gonna pay for the import duties and transportation costs and ER and what not???

But ah well, it’s good, coz going in there brings back some fond memories of utter randomness in the life I used to live there with all the freedom there could ever be. It’s good to reminisce. =)

Walked out there feeling good, though I didn’t make any purchases. Hey, who says window shopping is not uplifting????

This week has been quite full-speed, but there were moments that enabled me to take a chill-pill and relax. Figuratively, of course. =)

*******************************************************************

(walking towards the lounge)
Me: Hey Doc!
Doc: Ehy! What are u doing here???
Me: Oh, I'm chillin lah Doc..
Doc: Hah, chillin ah??? So free?? Wanna chill over a cup of coffee???
Me: Nothing less than Starbucks. =)
Doc: Ah, my favourite!
It's kinda nice that you can sit over a cup of Caramel Macciato and claim it under 'relationship building.' Haha.

It's even nicer when the doc is really cool and you're talking about who's hot and who's not. =)
This week has been full-speed, I NEEDED the Wednesday off. Thank God office is at PJ. Hallelujah!

I think the cinema has become my second home.

Friday: Captain America
Monday: The Zookeeper
Tuesday: Cowboys and Aliens
Wednesday: Celebrity Passes for BridesMaids.
Thursday: Spy Kids in 4D

OMG Thursday was just so...undescribable..After the mo
vie only did I realise that I was sitting in the same row as Amber Chia and her hubby. Yeaps, Amber Chia. When I saw her I was like wow, she's outstanding. Even over a pair of skinny jeans and a plain blouse, she looked flawless! Make-up and hair-do and all. Well a Msia bred but became an international model, she's gotta have some skills right? Can't possibly be sheer dumb luck to be that successful. So to literally watch a movie in the same room/row, that's kinda cool..There were some local celebrities around us too, like this hot looking couple whom I'm pretty sure I have seen on screen or while flippin' magz
before, but no one too significant to leave a footprint in my head. =)

Hrm...bottom line is..I think I'm going out too much.
But hey, Enjoyed every moment. Life's too short not to live it, right??

And oh yeah, I managed to pull off a surprise Birthday
party for sis last Sat! Couldn't have done it without Cai Fen..! Gave her another surprise by getting sis a custom-made Baskin Robbins ice-cream cake with cookies and cream filling which she loved! Hrm..glad she's so happy..makes me have happy tingles inside to see her so surpised! That's worth a million bucks! Hahahah...Ahhh...The little thing's you'd do for the ones you love... =)

Well, let's look forward to a nice Sunday! Have a great weekend y'all!

lotsa love.

Totally Random

Waking up today morning was a breeze. The weather was chilly cold, almost similar to a place called Sheffield. =) I live near the hills so it gets that much better. =) Just soothes the mind and calms the soul. What made it even more perfect was a good cup of American coffee brewed in Aussie, which I made! A fresh start of a wonderful day!! Perhaps one day if I can wake up early enough, I'll drive up to Bukit Gasing nearby and taste the fresh air before going to work. That would totally be upbringing... =) That is,

1. If I can wake up early enough.
2. If I'm not that lazy.

Then again, I guess it's most unlikely, given the fact that

1. I never wake up early enough, and
2. I am damn lazy. Lol..

Someone dodged an accident for me yesterday. Well, technically. There I was on the way home around TTDI when a Kancil just cut my line near the traffic light. I damn beh song edy wan. But well, what could I do? No use adding to the road rage crisis right?? So there she was, taking the lead and from out of the blues the car in the front of her jerked to a sudden stop, leading a consecutive effect on her coz she didn't break fast enough. All that happened right before my eyes! Wow..Talk about being thankful! Cud have been me man!

After work, took my Baby from the groomers and drove single-handedly home with the fella on my lap. I felt like Britney Spears!!! I'm surprised I came home in one piece! Hallelujah! =)

Went grocery shopping with my Country Manager, Martin this evening at Bangsar Village. Turns out I was just accompanying him. Didn't buy anything coz it was
waaaay overpriced man-price fit for only the expatriates and royalties. I mean, 19 bucks for a box of Chicken Stock???? How crazy is that?????
Went to Martin's place this noon. He forgot to grab something so I offered him a lift. He was so nice to show me around. What a lovely place he's got! Just simple, classy and nice. Got all the neccesities and nothing more. Unlike my house. =( When he opened the door, I almost went gaga when I saw how NEAT the place was! "Wait, isn't his wife at Singapore???" Wow..the place was.. impeccable!! Neat men are just SO HARD TO FIND now. If only I was..20 years older..or he was 20 years younger!!! =) Haha kidding..^^

Looi is just so funny. When he calls me, I'll pick up and say "Hey Looi, what's up???" Lols that's soooo not how you talk to your boss right??? But he's cool with it. =) He cracks me up almost every morning. Damien also. His laugh is more infectious than mine!! Hrmph hrmph..Looi was the one who drove me to get my car the very day I got the call to pick it up. He was the first person who liked the colour of my car too, and technically the first person to sit in my car after my family and the person that I'd turn to if I have no idea what to do. And the best part is, he is so...helpful. SO glad to have a superior like him! =)

Some things have changed. Friends who used to be closer aren't that close anymore. People that I used to have good conversations on old folk songs seem distant. Perhaps coz I didn't put an effort to bridge the distance. Gotta make time for that. =) Time is something so precious for me now. But hey, like Cha says, if you don't have time, MAKE one. I wonder how he does it man, really. I'd break down if I was him! With all that workload, splitting between managing his company and college, and still the second top scorer in the course, like OMG man..Robot-giler..!

Well, all the randomness in my mind. =)

To sum it all,

I'm in a happy place. =)

Cheers!!!!

Have a wonderful Friday!

lotsa love.

Can't Smile Without You!!!
