News to share, here and there..! :)

It's rainy days like today that would easily bring me back to the times of yesteryears.

We had supper at SS2 yesterday, and whilst walking back to the car after a sumptuous nasi goreng USA that appealed to me very much, I couldn't help but appreciating the chill in the cold weather. There used to be someone else who would appreciate such weathers like this the same way I do too. I wonder how that person is right now.

You know what I miss???

I miss feeling free.

With the wind on my face, I miss riding at the back of a bike, with the speedometer ranging around 100 at the least. I miss that feeling, giving my utmost trust to the driver knowing nothing bad would happen coz the driver wouldn't allow it. Don't have to worry about anything, just being in the moment, feeling young. And foolish. And free.

It's ironic, isn't it? Ironic that I have a good car that can run even faster than a moderate bike, Ironic that I have more freedom than I used to ever have, and yet I crave for a different type of, say, satisfaction? And freedom? Is there something wrong with me or am I just plain weird?

Had dinner in the evening with Max several weeks ago. I'm so glad I met up with him finally! And was even more surprised that he was willing to spend the evening window shopping with me in an old, favorite hang out spot. Jusco Wangsa Maju. Went all the way there to grab a bite of The Big Apple doughnut. Mmm.. :) nothing much changed though. I used to love shopping there, especially during college days when I'm on a budget. Max asked me why I loved to buy all my stuffs from Memory Lane. Like duh, coz I'm on a budget laaaaah.. :p Thought I found the perfect gift for Sis, but after weighing its cost I thought I could buy something much more with the price I was going to pay for that piece.

Did a good deed recently! Spent a whole day doing fund raising. :) 9 of us cooped up around RM4.5K. I'm so proud to do a good deed. It's good to give back to society, especially to people who truly need it like the Spastic Organisation of Malaysia. Although my knees hurt like crap by the end of the day, it was worth every effort. Felt truly proud of myself for doing a good cause. Contributed my bit as well, although it's not significant. This is what I got in return. Inside, it is empty, but if you see it clearly, I'm sure you'll be able to see God smiling back because a good deed was done. :)

Became actively involved in Sports Club in AZ and organized a night with the Man of Steel too. It was a success, with 45 people attending the show, a hike from the usual 10-20 people who turns up for monthly movie night session. Felt happy..! :) Saw The Lone Ranger too. Didn't really like it though, thought it was quite boring. Also, during the half yearly company meeting, I was elected the President of the S&R, but gracefully turned it down as I am more focused to my sales figures, but I was happy to be elected Vice in return. Looking forward to more things to organize in the coming half year!

Girlfriend went to Europe recently and bought me some gifts..! This lovely, lovely, lovely bag, is from Veinice, Italy, made out of nothing else but pure leather!!!! *love you babe! You're just so awesome!*

She got me my long-craved Sainsbury muffins too..! It was a dream come true, and I was truly grateful that she brought back those muffins back here to me. And also the Frijj drink. Tasted just as good as before! Check out the pics.

Muffins tasted just as sumptuous as I remembered it. So happy! :) It's been a good three years since I had that last bite of those dear muffins, and it was the journey on the way to Scotland from Sheffield, in the coach that I had the last bite. Eating the last piece at the office, I thought to myself, when would it be the next time that I get to eat those yummy muffins again? Will it be another 3 years wait.......?

Dad bought Sis and I a new luggage, looking forward to use it to Hong Kong. :) looking forward to Disneyland HK and how it would differ from Paris. :) Made a friend in HK so he has shared with me some nice places to eat. Can't wait!!!

There's just so much to be thankful for. Like for instance, I managed to hit a portion of my target, despite being new in AZ. The people and culture here is also pretty good, which is something that is very important for me as I work with these people day in and out.

Well, let's end the blog entry right here this time around yeah? I'm getting the feeling that it's getting a bit too boring. And oh, I signed myself up for Yoga Class! Under company lah.. Haven't tried that before so am looking forward to it too! Gotta loose some weight. AZ is making me fat lah!!!

Lotsa love.

Can't Smile Without You!!!
