Seems like my bro is blogging more often than I am..!
..with so much that's happening, it's just almost impossible to sit a mere 15 minutes and post, even with the tons of things that I have in mind.
First up, I've grown sideways!!! OMGGGGG!!! I think my heart stopped a second when I saw the weighing scale this morning..goodness! Where did that additional 2 kg come from????????!??!??!?
... Well, thinking again, it's not surprising lah, considering the fact that this is the one year out of my 24 years of living that we didn't fly out station or out of the country coz we want dad's eye to fully recover before we fly, so what do we do with all the excess time we have????
EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The night before NY, we ate at the a Hunan Restaurant, called Xiang Fu Xiang Cheng, which serves an array of some "freaking aid" spicy Chinese food, but was soooo yummy that eating whilst tearing was weirdly an exhilirating experience. This was at Scott Garden, and the price was, well, worth it lah, with most of the dishes ranging from RM30-45. I gotta say the winner is the very spicy frog dish. If you choose to be a patron, you just gotta try that one, priced at only RM 35 or so.
Then the next day, we just had to get our hands on Shogun! =) I ate my heart out like there was no tomorrow coz the food was pretty good, sooooo full that I had trouble sleeping. Seriously....haven't felt that in a looooong time. How fulfilling..! Shogun has a wide array of dishes to select from, would go visit there again in the future.. =)
The following day, we ate buffet dinner at The Mills Cafe, at Grand Millennium Hotel, but the buffet was not as good as Shogun's lah for sure. In fact, nothing was worth remembering except for the pizza which used yummy cheese. Well I reckon nothing expensive but the end dish (pizza) was worth stuffing urself in, thin crusted some more.. yumms.. even the much talked about Indian curry was, well not to my liking really..too much spices for my palette.
In the noon, we ate lunch with Aunt Helen at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. That lunch was so fun! We were given a simple IQ test in which we had to solve, well its kinda hard to explain here but all in all, dad (being the oh-so smart person that he is) solved it1 So what did we get as a reward?? A free mango frizz on the house and chocolate chips ice-cream!!! Whee...~
That night, honey surprised me when he came home a day earlier! Whee...! Was so surprised to have found a love-note on my post box. =))))))))))))))))))
Then the fourth day, we ate at...let me see..I think it was called Steam Room, where each of us were served this bowl of all the lavish food that's common for CNY, which comprises of sea cucumber, abalone, scallops, and others, alongside other dishes of course.
The abalone was like soooo cute lah..
...And to celebrate Cap Goh Mei, we are going to Teluk Gong to makan besar again!
And even tomorrow!!! Pork Nuckle on the way!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Total faaaaat-ness!!! =)
Haha..
lotsa love.
