WAIT FOR ME

Yeaps! It's that time of the year again! =) 

One fine day after work, I came home to find our lovely Christmas tree, with it's gleaming colours of velvet red and glittery gold gracing the entrance. Little Christmas statues and toys were sitting on the Nara table, and lights lifted the room. Oh, how much I love Christmas. There's so much room for hope, and even more for love, and most of all, presents! =) Heheh...

It's Christmas coming around soon, which evidently marks the end of the current year and the forthcoming of a new one.

..Which got me thinking,

What have I accomplished in the past year which I can truly be proud of?

What difference has my existence made in the lives of others?

Are the critical decisions I've made the right ones?

Sigh, decisions decisions.. 

As much as I've loved being a kid, and I wouldn't trade my wonderful childhood life for anything in the world, I realise that time doesn't go backwards, and the only way to head is forward.

There's just so much to look forward to, at the same time be anxious about. =)

Time flies. Too quickly at times. If only time could stop sometimes, if only it could wait. 

*****WAIT*****

Don't you think it's too common a word, a word we use almost insignificantly every single day, yet it plays such a significant part n our lives???

For instance,

When someone's late, when the traffic light turns red, even as we fill a cup of water. 

Or when we're waiting for a loved one, waiting for that too-damn-boring meeting to end, waiting for 5.30pm to be able to go back home and laze on that oh-so-comfy couch and watch an episode of "How I Met Your Mother" and laugh your guts out?

When there's TRAFFIC JAM???

Sometimes when life doesn't turn out the way it's supposed to be, or when the pieces of a puzzle doesn't seem to fit, you'll just have to take a step back, try to see the bigger picture and everything will fall into place.

Probably do a little waiting, have a little FAITH, and then when it still doesn't make sense, then..WAIT anyways. =)

Because somewhere along the line, when the time is right, when the place is right, and when the moment is right, then all the waiting in the world wouldn't matter anymore, when the pieces of the puzzle in your life are put together, and everything just suddenly makes sense. 

And suddenly, LIFE seems so Magical..Just like Christmas. =)

That's why it's my favourite time of the year...! =)
