My Idol Fav$...

It's in talent shows like this that raw, new talents are being discovered. Some of them, not so good in the beginning, but it all counts in the journey, as they grow, and are being trained by some of the best vocalists in the country, and as they progress, they become better and better, and ultimately realises their full potential.

My family just loves American Idol. We've been following it for as long as I can remember. I grew up with it, had an emotional attachment with it, laughed at it, hated it, loved it, cherished it, enjoyed it, and learned from it too. In fact, I think I've learned how to be diplomatic from hearing the comments of the judges throughout the years, and vicious from our dearest Simon Cowell. =)

But some talents are just Godsend and when these talents open their mouths, magic just comes out from it. And then people like me are left with nothing but just plain, simple, AMUSEMENT...

There I was bumming around in Selayang youtube-ing while eating my pan mee when I saw this...

Her name is Jessica Sanchez. A real winner already. No wonder my mom's rooting for this Filipino girl. Some more of Filipino blood, sure mom damn patriotic and supports her kao kao... The first time I saw this on my I-Phone 4S, I was sooo overwhelmed. *Gawsh*

This girl is only 16 years of age! Feel like a loser suddenly haha. But she's a real talent, coz not many people can take on a Celine Dion number, let alone kill it. And for this week, she took on Whitney Houston "I will Always Love You." Hands down the best of the night. Check it out. My favourite girl for this season. If a girl is taking it home this season, I hope it's her!!!! =)

And this other guy, I call him "my leng cai"..

The name is Colton Dixon, tried out last year but missed a spot in the Top 24. Hope he's got better luck this year..! Another talent indeed, but I like him better in the beginning, now when the bad boy image is more prevalent, not so keen anymore. But still, I think he had this "moment" of his "killer stare" for like one second which probably made the girls (me being one of them) go gaga. Haha. Still one of my favourites.

Lastly, this little innocent fella. A man who wears his heart upon his sleeves. The guy with the big heart. If you listen to his other numbers, he resembles quite a bit of the "Justin Timberlake" kinda toe in his voice.



Name's Jeremy Rosado. I just have a soft spot for innocent men, especially when they are vulnerable. I think he definitely had a moment in this number.

But unfortunately, he has been eliminated this week. Well, song selection was the reason he left I reckon. But yeah I'm sure he won't be working as an Assistant Clerk in some infected disease clinic anymore. =)
