My Weekend Love

Let the world stop turning,
let the sun stop burning,
The one only thing that mattered had come true,
That in this lifetime, I was loved by you.

I have been blessed in this lifetime to be loved by so many people. And I have also been blessed to be able to reciprocate, especially to the ones that truly matter.

This weekend, I took the time off to be myself. Friday was movie night with an unexpected company. We watched Spidey. Dinner and super was great. There was laughter, good ones. I wasn't trying to impress anyone. I was just me. No expectations, just nice company. The plain, boring me. It didn't really matter if I thought I was boring company, as long as I was comfortable with my own skin, I thought it would make my company enjoy my presence just has much. I hope it did.

Thank you for the lift home. I like your car. Let's switch cars. Bwaha!

Saturday was a very busy day. Spent some time with Rocky walking first thing. I believe the love I have for him is equally as important, although time for me is always such a constraint. But I'm glad I'm often busy, it keeps my mind off things. =)

KLCC was so much fun, I got to see local interior designed creative crafts and how they brilliantly made use of a given space to make it feel like home in the HomeDec expo.

But what was most important, was that I could spend some valuable time with sis. Ken is in the hospital because of dengue unfortunately, and so I'm blessed to be able to be his replacement as we search for what they can do to create their ideal homespace. She is soon to be wedded, and perhaps time for her to be spent with me would deteriorate as she has to assume the role of someone else's wife now, which is why I appreciate every single moment that I have with her. She will always be my beloved sis, and the fact is, I'm truly happy that I am able to help her out in one way or another. It's a good feeling. Funny, I always thought I'd be the one to get married earlier than her. Guess life is always as unexpected as it is. =)

One interior designer recognised me from high school. I'm surprised someone actually recognised me from then. He was sitting opposite me when he suddenly said "You are from Assunta, from Andrew Choo, right?" There was a sudden spark on my face. I thought I was invisible. It made my day. *smiles*

And then there is time with the girlfriend. A beautiful, pure figure on the inside out, a chariot of light when it comes to looking for the truth and nothing short, and a good friend indeed, Jeen keeps me sane and grounded. We have been busy often, and that is why I am also grateful for the time I have spent with her. You see, time is the one thing that you give someone that you can never take back. As I grow older, I realise I have to be more and more selective. I had a wonderful time chattering away with her and she is always as awesome. :) And I can always count on her for good advice. =)

And the one final person, who made my weekend utterly significant, has always, given me the same kind of feeling every time he walks into my life. That, I will leave for the next post.

Happy Sunday!

Cheers.

lotsa love.
